Being part of the late “millennial generation”, adulting is one of the phases in our lives I find very difficult to deal with, which I am experiencing now. Aside from working, living on your own is one of the challenges I face. And let me tell you, a lot of things need adjustment—from preparing all my things to cleaning my space. And here are my thoughts about, maybe, one of the least given importance room in the house, the bathroom. It may be one of the smallest spaces, or it does not really take too much space at all compared to our rooms, but keeping it clean is twice as hard as the bigger ones.
We all know that we seek comfort in this room, and in return, the room also needs comfort from us. It needs often cleaning, as bacteria are more likely to grow and stay in this room because of moist. With this, these are my insights on keeping my bathroom clean.
1. It’s all in the wares.
Yes, it may sound weird but it is really up to the wares. Choosing smart in your toilet sets make bathrooms clean, or at least, easy to clean. Try to purchase those made up of anti bacterial materials to make sure that your toilets are always clean. This way, if you’re in a hurry and you leave the bathroom wet, you’ll be sure that it will not anymore spread unwanted bacteria through moist.A product I can suggest is HCG’s Arosa. 2. Most of the time, it’s all about the water.
One of the keys to keeping the bathroom clean is controlling water in ways you can. Either buy a wash basin that prevents or reduces splashing, or considering a good bidet seat can be some of the solutions and preventions to a dirty bathroom. Bidet seats are made to clean in place after use, leaving no traces of water on the floor that lead to molds and the formation of bacteria. Keeping a dry bathroom is like doing 50% of the cleaning already.
Bidet sprays work okay until you accidentally slipped it on your hand while using. In public places meanwhile, I have doubts in using bidet sprays since sanitation is also a
consideration. But with bidet seats, I am sure that the nozzle (where water comes out) is cleansed and the water is not splashing while using. I was also terrified using bidet seats at first, but when I did, I actually look forward to using comfort rooms with bidet seats than sprays. Excess water is really avoided when using. An example of bidet seat is iWash, it can easily be installed in the toilet seat without any professional help. Surprisingly, when I purchased this one, I was able to install it by myself, too!
3.Maintenance, of course.
Prevention and smart purchasing can help in a lot of ways, but of course, maintenance is the most important task we need to keep our comfort rooms clean. Try to keep trash and any kind of dirt away from the bathroom at least before you go to sleep. This way, performing a general cleaning every now and then will be easier than before. I always see to it that even tiny pieces of trash (don’t forget the falling hair!) go directly in the bin so it won’t clog in the bathroom afterward.
With the fast faced life we have now, it is very easy and convenient to make decisions as there are a lot of options.
